What’s a better way to spend summer than to taste the rainbow. No, not Skittles- but yummy produce provided by Taylor Farms that can be used to brighten up any meal. We provide a variety of fresh products that can be used by restaurants as delicious, healthy twists on their menus. In this week’s innovation session, our test kitchen was filled with multiple products for customers to play with to spark creativity and add more flavor to their menus.
Chef Matt Beckett from Linn’s of Cambria, CA used his creativity to create four yummy healthy dishes. For his first dish he included a breakfast salad with our baby spinach, which included Linn’s famous granola and olallieberry jam. He also created an Asian-inspired salad with our veggie noodles, broccoli, cabbage slaw, cilantro and Heritage Blend. His third creation was a Mediterranean salad that used our Heritage blend and Cauliflower pearls. His last creation was a Street Corn Salad that used our shredded kale mix, cilantro and parsley. As a food service provider, we are an advocate of kitchen creativity that’s fun for us and our customers.
