While it is wet and windy in Salinas, exciting culinary experiences are being created in sunny Yuma, Arizona and we were in on the action! Taylor Farms has been working with family growers in Yuma for 20 years to continue to provide the healthy fresh food you’ve come to expect year round. In that time, local foodies have sprung up around the area using the fresh ingredients grown in their backyard.
Last week, we were so excited to be featured in this year’s Farm Fresh Forks tasting event, we had to share some of what we tasted! Local chefs from River City Grill, Garden Cafe, Mostly Muffins, and 2Fifty1 Downtown all put their unique twist on Taylor Farms Veggie Noodles and Cauli Pearls!
Chef Alex Trujillo of The Patio created three very different and very delicious dishes; a spicy noodle salad with fresh mint, veggie noodles with Pomodoro sauce and lettuce wraps utilizing Taylor Farms Cauliflower Pearls. And at Takos & Beer, Owner and Chef Eddie Guzman created Zucchini and Yellow Squash stir fry with garlic butter Cauliflower Pearls.
