Our automated romaine harvester is changing the way we work at Taylor Farms.

This revolutionary machine is entirely mechanized and uses a water knife to cleanly cut the heads in the field, eliminating the need for employees to cut romaine by hand. Instead of working in the field, a smaller crew comfortably rides on the harvester inspecting each head, ensuring only the highest quality lettuce is transported from the field to the plant. The automated harvester also uses less water and has shown improved quality and field yields over the traditional romaine harvester.
